Experienced accountant (M/F/D)

Main tasks

The main tasks include:

  • Preparation of periodic and annual VAT returns;
  • Daily encoding of supplier invoices and bank statements;
  • Preparation and follow-up of rental invoices;
  • Management of the relationship with the auditors;
  • Follow-up of insurance and leasing (contracts, invoicing, payments, ...);
  • Preparation and follow-up of cash flow budgets;
  •  The role is to develop and maintain a relationship with the auditors/auditors;
  • Drawing up and filing annual accounts and related legal documentation;
  • Monitoring insurance and leasing (contracts, invoicing, payments, etc.);
  • Drawing up and monitoring cash flow budgets;
  • Developing management charts and ratios;
  • Participating in the improvement of existing internal processes.

Profile required

  • Have a higher education degree in accounting (BAC+2);
  • Have at least 5 years of significant experience in a similar position;
  • Perfect command of French and English, both written and spoken. Luxembourgish and/or German will be an asset;
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Writing skills, ability to report on actions taken and achievements in a concise manner;
  • Ability to take the initiative and be autonomous in your actions, while knowing how to work in a team;
  • Rigour and organisational skills;
  • Great discretion and confidentiality;
  • Sense of customer service quality (internal/external);
  • Open-mindedness and interpersonal skills;
  • Taste for analysis, reflection and the implementation of new tools.

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of the Luxembourg chart of accounts;
  • Knowledge of Luxembourg tax law (VAT, taxes, etc.);
  • Knowledge of computer and office tools (Multiline, Word, Excel, Outlook, BOBfista, etc.).
