Description
Work to build the infrastructure of this large residential development between Rue des Celtes and Rue des Barrières in Merl began back in 2003.
This project constitutes a successful blend of single-family houses and apartment blocks, creating a certain architectural harmony in a contemporary style.
There are 32 single family homes, alongside seven apartment blocks with 163 individual apartments.
Protecting the site from urban noise pollution is a natural anti-noise embankment measuring an average of 7 metres high and 570 metres long.
With a volume of over 30,200m3, this embankment is home to around 6,500 newly planted trees and shrubs.
The project also involved building a new bridge over the little Merlerbach stream, thereby providing access to the estate from Rue des Barrières.
