Safety First at the heart of our operations
Safety is a priority issue at Félix Giorgetti.
For its fourth edition, Safety and Health Awareness Week took place from 19 to 24 February, in close collaboration with the IFSB.
A total of 500 employees – workers, managers and head office staff – took part in this training initiative. Each day, six teams of 20 people participated in six workshops. Before getting down to business, participants attended a joint briefing led by the IFSB, followed by a speech by Philippe Metzler, who emphasised safety on construction sites and reiterated the reasons for organising the event, the causes of accidents and the objectives for the coming year.
From theory to best practices
For the 2026 edition, the programme focused on real-life situations through six specific workshops:
- Safe use of power tools
- Assembly and dismantling of HÜNNEBECK ST60 shoring towers
- Trench shoring and identification of associated risks
- MEVA Mammut XT and Securit Basic / MIS modular formwork
- Use of SATECO formwork panels
- A virtual reality workshop dedicated to wearing PPE
A collective commitment day after day
With this new edition, Félix Giorgetti reaffirms his commitment to raising awareness among his employees about a key issue in our sector.
Ensuring everyone's safety on our construction sites relies on both high-quality equipment and adequate training in its use. In a constantly evolving sector, it is essential that every employee adopts these best practices and actively commits to their own safety, that of their teams and that of all those working on site.
