Architectural visions that are reshaping the landscape
From the GRIDX innovation centre in Wickrange to the future headquarters of J.P. Morgan in Kirchberg, we look back at two major projects that combine bold aesthetics with human challenges.
This December issue looks back on the incredible journey of GRIDX. Opened last September, this multi-experience hub is the result of an extraordinary human adventure, having overcome floods and crises to become a one-of-a-kind venue. At the same time, we take you to Kirchberg, where The Waves building has won over J.P. Morgan. With its BREEAM Excellent certification and Corten steel architecture, this building embodies the perfect combination of environmental performance and well-being, confirming Luxembourg's position as a leading financial centre.
Technical engineering at the service of mobility
Focus on the Dippach-Gare bypass: a complex infrastructure project where our teams have implemented innovative technical solutions to improve traffic flow in the future.
Head to the Dippach construction site to discover the behind-the-scenes work involved in this massive project. Our teams have achieved some impressive technical accomplishments there, including the construction of a covered trench following a complex curved trajectory and the implementation of optimised water management via a 2,500 m³ retention basin. The project also promotes sustainable mobility with the installation of a new 85-metre-long mixed metal and concrete footbridge, ensuring safe passage for pedestrians and cyclists.
