Marc Giorgetti named Entrepreneur of the Year

Before the award ceremony, Yves Even, partner and leader of the competition at EY, detailed his career path alongside his brother Paul: "Marc Giorgetti has been active in the family business from an early age, working on building sites and acquiring expertise in operating construction machinery. After completing his studies, he returned to Luxembourg to take charge of the company, which was then in difficulty.

Together, the brothers developed an ambitious and visionary diversification strategy that led the family structure to become the Giorgetti Group, a leader in construction and property development in Luxembourg. With more than 3,000 employees, the Group has also extended its activities to the nautical and hospitality sectors.

A success story summed up by Marc Giorgetti in his portrait for the competition: "You have to be creative to be an entrepreneur, but you also have to be visionary, courageous and daring to seize opportunities, take decisions and persevere to succeed".

Deeply moved, our managing partner began by paying tribute to his brother Paul. He also said that he was very honoured by this distinction, which "would not have been possible without our loyal colleagues. We are a family business, and we are all very close, with a strong sense of belonging and loyalty.

This great adventure does not end there, as Marc Giorgetti will have the honour of representing Luxembourg at the World Entrepreneur of the Year finals, to be held in Monaco in June 2024.
