Construction of a 140m long and 27m wide bridge over the A6 motorway.
Connection of Boulevard Raiffeisen and route de Kockelscheuer by a 140 m long mixed structure bridge.
The OA 900 has 2x2 lanes dedicated to road traffic, 2 tram lanes, footpaths and bike paths. It connects the new district of Ban de Gasperich with the roads coming from Leudelange and Bettembourg.
The structure consists of 2 concrete abutments and 3 piles supporting a mixed structure with a total length of 135m and a width of 27.30m.
The structure has been installed in 4 sections. The motorway had to be closed to allow Kamag transport the first 3 sections. The 4th section will be constructed on site.
Each section weighs close to 400t, made up of the steel frame (200t), precast slabs and other components (200t).
The welding work was carried out after the sections have been installed, followed by reinforcement of the deck before concreting. The work was carried out in several stages and included night work.
