Media Bay Domain

Well-being in Kirchberg, between city and nature

Media Bay is a new mixed-use district imagined and designed by Félix Giorgetti, which offers a unique living environment to its inhabitants.

It is composed of a set of four residences, the Four Explorers, each named after famous explorers: Da Gama, Magellan, James Cook and Columbus. The Four Explorers take place in an unparalleled environment, between city and nature, at the edge of the woods and bordered by a vast greenery. A real invitation to well-being and relaxation.

The domain is also home to two office buildings, the Lighthouses, where the RTL Group headquarters are located, and The Waves, which is currently under construction. Added to this: Les Esplanades, a future mixed-use project that will include shops, offices and housing.

Media Bay offers the rare opportunity for buyers to acquire freehold property in Kirchberg. Linked buildings

A mixed and lively neighbourhood

Work, live and relax right next door.

In Kirchberg, Félix Giorgetti is building Media Bay, a new mixed-use district which has conquered unexplored territories on the plateau which dominates the capital, on the border between city and nature.

A privileged location

The residences take place in a privileged natural environment, a true haven of peace where residents can enjoy tastefully furnished plots, paths that wind between buildings lined with flower beds and trees, as well as seats, benches and tables for beautiful days in the sun. At the back, a fitness trail will lead to the nearby forest.

Realisation in phases

Its construction has started in 2013 and is carried out in several phases. It began with the construction of the Lighthouses, the administrative towers, and are continuing with the residences.

On the habitat side, the estate currently has four residences, the Four explorers, and bear the names of four of the greatest explorers who have marked history: James Cook, Columbus, Magellan and Da Gama, and thus showing all the ambition of this new neighborhood.

The complex has a total of 296 apartments distributed as follows:

  • 72 apartments with 1 to 3 bedrooms on 12 floors for Magellan;
  • 78 apartments  with 1 to 3 bedroom on 12 floors for Columbus;
  • 73 apartments with 1 to 4 bedrooms on 11 floors for Da Gama;
  • 73 apartments with 1 to 3 bedroom on 11 floors for James Cook.

On the office side, the estate currently has three administrative towers, the Lighthouses, one of which is the headquarters of RTL Group. This complex offers 36,000m2 of office space.

But the conquest of Media Bay is not over. Many projects are still to come such as The Waves, an administrative building of 14,500m2 or the mixed building (residential and commercial) Les Esplanades which are under development.

Localisation

Exceptionnal living at Kirchberg

With Media Bay, housing and offices have conquered a new territory: the Kirchberg plateau, a district located to the north-east of Luxembourg-city in full expansion and with many assets.

Along John Fitzgerald Kennedy avenue stand great European institutions, major banks, audit firms and internationals. More than a business district with a modern architecture, the Kirchberg is the scene of a rich and varied cultural, sports and commercial scene.

These include the Philharmonie and the Mudam for culture, the La Coque sports center, the Kinépolis cinema and the Luxexpo exhibition center for leisure activities and the Auchan shopping center (supermarket, 50 shops and 19 restaurants) for shopping. Its location is ideal: Findel airport is just a few minutes away, as are major national and international highways. Not to mention the excellent network of public transport and cycle paths.
