Lotissement Rue des Prés

Mersch

Between city and nature

In Mersch, Félix Giorgetti is developing, in association with Arend & Fischbach, the “rue des Prés” housing project. A set that offers a quality living environment between city and nature.

The housing project will be located in rue des Prés, on the site of the former Fabert printing house. Certain elements will also be preserved in order to preserve this historical heritage.

The complex will consist of six residences - one of which will also house offices and shops - and ten houses with modern, mineral architecture.

Rue des Prés enjoys an ideal location in the center of Mersch, near the CFL train station and the Route du Nord.

Cozy and modern interiors

The rue des Prés housing estate is composed of six residences - among which Rockwell, Didot and Helvetica - and ten townhouses called Futura.

Located on the former Fabert printing site, they bear the name of famous fonts in homage to this historical heritage. With its modern architecture and mineral inspiration, the whole will offer a pleasant and welcoming living environment to its future inhabitants.

Rockwell

With its 31 apartments, Rockwell is the residence with the most apartments. This 5-level building has a basement which includes cellars, rooms for bicycles and strollers as well as parking spaces. As a mixed-use building, the ground floor will be reserved for shops and offices.

Didot & Helvetica

The Didot and Helvetica residences have 13 apartments each on 5 levels. They are built on a common basement which includes cellars, rooms for bicycles and strollers and parking spaces.

Houses Futura

The subdivision also includes a series of five houses - Futura 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Like the neighboring residences, they feature a modern architecture with straight lines and brick facings. They offer exceptional services with spaces that will suit perfectly to families. In addition to two parking spaces at the front, the house has a garden as well as a garden shed providing additional storage space.

Location

Between city and nature

Located in the center of the country, Mersch is very pleasing. This town, which in 2021 passed the 10,000 inhabitants milestone, offers a calm, natural and dynamic environment. Its town center is home to many shops and restaurants, as well as schools (basic schools, Ermesinde high school, Diekirch classical high school - Mersch annex, Mersch Anne Beffort international school and the technical high school for educational and social professions) as wel as day nurseries and extracurriculars. The city also benefits from a rich natural, cultural, sporting and historical heritage.

There is thus a 13 ha municipal park - with a lake, numerous sports facilities and playgrounds - which hosts the Post Luxembourg Balloon Trophy every two years, an aquatic center, a library and the “Mierscher Kulturhaus”.

Mersch is very well served in terms of mobility. Our housing estate is located less than 10 minutes from Mersch train station (currently being modernized and which will soon benefit from a 400-space park and ride) and the bus station served by many bus lines. Thanks to the Route du Nord, Luxembourg-city and the Kirchberg are only twenty minutes away by car.

The town is also located on the Alzette cycle path (PC15), a 31 km route from Walferdange to Ettelbruck which takes you in particular to the Eischtal valley to discover its many castles and fortresses.
